nightmare

sometimes my dreams are like this, or worse. Decided to try some different inks. I used several layers of watercolor with salt to make the background texture. At first the texture was really pronounced, but after the third wash it became more blendy and the salt permanently bleached little spots which was kinda cool. Just a fun short thing to start summer.

so I dunno if you've noticed, but I like snakes...

This is a bit of an old project, but I'd really like to tune it up a bit and turn it into something really nice so I thought I'd post it on here to get some feedback. Also I forget what kovach told me to do so im hoping you all will address the same things. Hope ya like it!

P.S. got my digication up and running finally. Check it. Hoping to get a blog on the roll soon too

Process work for upcoming watercolor

This is for a quick one week watercolor assignment for Methods with Kovach. I wanted to try to really push myself into making something a little more "Illustrative" than my usual kinda stiff mechanical style. I also really wanted to make a better composition than I usually do. These are just quick studies but if you guys notice anything you feel would improve it let me know.

A little bit of star wars fan art... just before bed. I have been doodling my own stuff so much lately I just had to take a break and I felt like sketching something real quick before bed. This isn't a serious piece, but as always crits are welcome. I put colors on their own layer so I am going to play around with different designs later. Man I would love to work on the clone wars... And I am just noticing the tangent with the crop and emblem..

nightmare WIP

New personal piece, thought it was nightmarish enough to post. You know, its one of those drowned while wearing a purple shroud/getting eaten by crabs nightmares that everyone has. Gonna ink it now, unless anyone has a composition suggestion.
