I'm liking this a lot Phil, your pieces have been taking on a real creepy feel lately and i think it suits your style. I had to save this and flip it upside down to pin point some anatomy issues with her arms, they're a bit wonky, especially her left one.
be careful with the way her head is sitting on her shoulders and the placement of the facial features, while it looks good upside down there's something not quite right about it right side up.
i like your color palette a lot, and I'm wondering if a light gradient of shadow behind the figures moving from the top of the image to the bottom might help pop this even more...
I appreciate the comments chris, but i gota disagree, ive never approved of the flip anyway
the legs are beautifully rendered. But I have looked at this a couple of times and I can't tell if she is lying (laying?) down or falling? Because her dress and pose makes it look like she is resting on the ground, but her shoelaces look like she is falling...
lol point taken phil, besides, it's the position that the audience is supposed to see it in that matters anyway :P
