I think the background kills it, doesn't fit in at all. Maybe just straight black will work. overlap the signs a little so you get that vegas look instead of overcrowed headlines. Btw when do they have $1 well drinks?
I really like the soft colors you got going on, nice brush control. I like the background, i would leave it. if your going to do the vegas look maybe photoshop some glow into those signs, not much though
I've gotta add that the actual painting is a bit darker, and in MUCH STRONGER contrast. The scan, then the upload to blogger, lightened it up and washed it out to a ridiculous degree. Something I've gotta fix for printing purposes.

Painting on a map was a very nice touch.
You have balls of steel for hand painting all of those logos.
A++ would view again.
keep the background imo, loving the texture and overall feel to it, even if the scan lost some of it's original glam :P
