Comic Book - Pg.1 and 2
Final assignments for Uko's. Let me know how the story flow works and obviously any physical crits as always. Still playing around with the rendering to see what works best for my style of work. Oh and I know perspective is off, especially in page 1, that is something I know I can do, i just have to focus on making that a priority for my work...
Thanks guys

the thing that gets me is how ok the guy seems with being ripped in two. I know I would be freaking out. And the last frame, how the guy in the forground is holding the gun seems goofy, why isn't he holding the gun by the stock? Still, flows and the story is strong.
i'm really digging your work. great stuff.
thanks guys- yeah Allison definitely agree with the guy getting ripped apart- should have had his head lean back spilling blood...definitely just looks freaked instead of mortified... as for the guy in the foreground.. i should have just had him throwing the gun, but i wanted it to make it look like he was dodging the car while trying to hold onto his 50 cal haha.. i failed haha
thanks tyson as well
Penciling comic is a pain in the ass so I'll give you props for doing 2 pages. yeah panels flow pretty well so props on that. Variety of angles, but I would push it a little more, like way up close and way far away. Look at some Jim Lee panels. I feel like you could introduced the ripped in half dude better. Like I would have the panel where they land a wider shot so you see them and the monster struggling and dude struggling. Next panel he rips him in half, then the next panel he notices the fighters.
thanks Phong- really great points, i definitely feel the shot with the guy already being torn in half is too jarring to the story, Penciling is indeed a pain the ass when you know it is getting over worked, my goal is to try and maintain the cleanliness through the entire page
thanks again sir
