suggestions of any form?

hello, everyone~
i've been stalking around the blog quite a bit recently but haven't much to post. but finally have a few things i'd like to get suggestions on.
the following two aren't done by any means obviously, and please ignore the captions on the compiled image.

on the fight picture, i'm just a little lost on what else to do to the composition. want to go through and make the values balance more, play more with dominance in that way, though still feel everything but the three fore-most figures is lacking. :/

on the compiled image, the two i wanted to ask for ideas on are the left-most image and the elongated funeral pictures.

lastly, feel a little embarrassed to be asking this so openly here, but i've been in this massive art-funk for a year now, and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to offer up to help me through it. here's a detailed post about what i've been going through if you feel up to reading it and offering up any thoughts.

hmmmm so. the balance of the red. it's a bit overwhelming the main focus, but when i tried to put a little bit of red behind the figures [striped pillows n such] it got really cluttered and hard to read x.x suggestions?



ps-- the drawing isn't done either, there's still a few things to finish like the foot and arm, etc.

i've been working on this for probably over a month.
iii just don't know. it doesn't look done to me. there's so much more that i want to do/looks like needs to be done to me. but co and my teach insist it's fine. so-- for now at least.

well--

haven't been doing much worth showing [yet], but since the new theme's fairytallleessssss sure.
this is a project from 'last semester' i did for comic class. really just an excuse to to something i wanted to and get homework done at the same time. as a result, though, i was picky about it [because i actually cared for once :3] and only got this far. though i donno if i wanna continue/what exactly to do with it. so i guess i'll post it up for target practice.

there's so much i want to go back into to fix and finalize because the comic pages are anywhere near done, but at the same time i don't know if i really find it worth the effort/frustration.

hmmm, so. this is... unexpencted.
started as a sketch of one character, but she turned into something else. but liked it so kept going.
she was going to be gutting fish but it turned out to be birds. but kept going.
so now i don't know what the fuck it is 'cept that photoshop HATES the levels and didn't want to make it look right. might be this monitor too. i'll have to go look at this on other comps later. >____>

ANYWAY-- i want to colour it, but i usually don't pull through with that. >______> there's also some sloppy elements that i want to go back in and clean up some even if i don't colour it but [nodnod] i just doesn't feel like a final line drawing because i wanted to add some ripple-ish stuff but would rather do it in colour not pencil. [scratches head] eh....

hrrmmggg. art funk retardation HELP :D

sooo i've been in this majour art-funk-rut-RETARDATION for like 6 months now, so been having issues with just about every project-- personal and otherwise. x_____x HERE'S A SHINING EXAMPLE!! :D

i don't think it's 'finished' but coey keeps yelling at me that it's fine. might be that i've been so enamoured and emersed in detail background/scenery for so long that i can't look at anything simple i make and feel it's 'finalized'. regardless, thought i'd ask--

any suggestions?

between tired and being [cough]discouraged[cough], i've been drawing two lines on a pic, then putting it away for a week.

this one i've been looking at and doing nothing on. =___=;; i'm afraid to touch it, cuz i like it. don't wanna fuck it up.


this one-- i'm at a loss of what to do-- i wanna put arrows in her back and have drizzling blood, but to 'finalize' it-- eh, donno. kinda want to make the blood bright fuck-off red but i don't know how to make it into a full final? /making no sense.


WiP for fairytales class. doing a full-blown illust for it cuz i like it aaaand was an excuse for shy to draw gore. :D
50% done? maybe 40%? [shrugg]


lastly-- something i did for comic class while back. 'nother excuse to do personal work for a grade. didn't like how it came out so still working on it. noooo where near finished.
