I still have a week before it's due, so crits are definitely welcome.

I like the bird, I like the sky, I like the color balance. Here's the 'but': i liked the composition zoomed out, and i think the texture you put in the bottom is distracting. It's actually harder to see what is happening in the face of the jumper now, than it was in the black and white, although he still looks sweet as hell. There's a stripe across the shoulders of the man in the foreground that lines up with the mountains, and this flattens the whole piece, giving him the impression that he's see-through. The fuzzy hair also seems more like fur and less like the straightened "doo" he had going on in the black and white. I recommend you cut all the texture out of the mountains and pull the composition back again. I know it sounds like i crapped all over your parade, but i love this piece. i think if you balanced a little more this sucker has serious punch. well done regardless.

congrats, good piece. You know how you said you were having problems with color? Well sir that does not seem to be the case here. I agree with everything that D.R said and I just want to add this because I'm not sure if it was your intent or not. The guy that kinda looks like Noel jumping in the air...his legs look translucent in the light meanwhile his body seems to be a bit more firm.

Since Dave covered a lot of the other really great points, I'm just gonna say that I miss the original background. They really dont feel grounded to anything anymore. nice color though. Kudos.
