The Interrogation

So I am working on a new painting... What do you think so far? Anything that could be better? Anything that is working and should be pushed? It is hard to tell what is going on in this unfinished version. The big gray splotches are going to be hands, so he is leaning on the rail that the hands are clinging to. Also, the gargoyle in the background is from the top of the Chrysler building. In the background will be night time sky. I think the rest should be easily inferred.

Very Cool, I can tell whats going on but it took me a second, I'm sure finished it will be much easier to read. The only problem I'm really seeing now is that the guys right shoulder (our left) stretches out a little too far. Keep going though, I wanna see the gargoyle rendered out.

looks awesome so far!! love the expression on his face. The only thing I would advise you to watch is the gargoyle I am worried it might become more dominant than the guy. I feel he needs to be the biggest shape in the frame. but i dont know how you will paint it because if it is subtle enough it i dont think it would matter.
