St Brigid

This is a painting that would be on a religious prayer card. I picked St Brigid because she a patron saint of artists. Any suggestions dudes? I'm stuck

Pretty slick so far. Her face looks a little stretched in the nose area, but other than that this is a nice piece. I like the design work going on in this, but I'm not sure what you are stuck on...

Really good drawing, and your rendering looks just as good. If I had a suggestion it'd be to take it into photoshop and color correct it a bit. he colors are lacking any sort of coherence, and the yellow is on the verge of entering sickly territory. It needs a push into either cool or warm territory, cause right now it's very, very neutral and balanced. And while that shows good skill, not sure if it establishes a good enough mood.

She should be carrying a Bishop's wooden crozier.
Saint Brigid was Bishop of Ireland in her earthly lifetime.
The first and only female Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church in 2000 years. But with any luck not the last!
