Which pic?
Hello all. I have been working on this Miyazaki/schoolwork inspired piece, originally for a contest on CGhub. I wanted to take it further for AOI/SOI... do you like the left or the right better? Any advice?

sweet idea,, and I def like the flower one!
I like the one on the left better. the flowers are too distracting. however if you were to darken them so they don't overpower what is going on in the center that may work.
I'd like the one on the right a lot more if the flowers were a little bit more subtle. I like the addition of color to the piece, because otherwise it's all super monochromatic and almost boring in comparison. The right one has better contrast as well.
Thanks guys! I'm leaning towards the right one, but need to fiddle with the flowers some more. I'll probably keep tweaking it until it's due
I'm definitely liking the one on the right more too, I think the addition of the flowers just adds a lot to the piece and also gives it more depth with a strong sense of foreground. I agree that they could be made a little more subtle though.
Yeah I'm late to the party and it's all been said haha. My opinion is in line with Tyler's though. Cool Piece Margaret.
